  1. Been thoroughly enjoying your series on building the tenor, Randal. I have built a couple recently and they are great additions to the guitar/mandolin family. I tune mine as I tune octave mandolin and bouzouki, GDAE, to let me play without having to learn new fingerings!
    Thanks for making your project public and for the many useful tips. I was interested to note your use of table saw and other power tools where I tend to use only a bandsaw and Japanese handsaws – your cutting of the mortice using the jig was very interesting.
